Luke 5:37-38-“You can’t put ‘new’ wine into ‘old’ wineskins.”
Jesus said 'new wine' must be poured into 'new wineskins'! Grace, love and Spirit led living could not be contained in the old 'crusty' lifestyle of living under the Law! The Pharisees must change! How about you? Do you sense something ‘new’ is on the horizon for you? It is! But you must be flexible and yield to its arrival! Don’t let it ‘spill out’ and be ‘wasted’ through stubbornness and inflexibility! (Whoa!) Make room for your ‘new’ today!
Week # 2“Pressing Into Your New!”
Philippians 3:12-14-“Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me.
Paul uses the analogy of a runner to describe the Christian’s spiritual growth. The believer has not reached his goal of Christlikeness, but like the runner in a race, he must continue to pursue it.
- Like Paul, there are things we must do in order to reach our ‘new’!
- So what is the prize that should spur us on? What image should we keep in the forefront in our minds?

Joshua 3:4-“Keep your eyes on the ‘Ark of the Covenant’, for you have not passed this way before!”
Moses was now gone. Joshua is on the scene ready to lead the children of Israel into the Promised Land. Week # 1 - "Seated in Christ!"

But when you realize that you are now a new creation and `seated in Christ´, you will see yourself differently! The Healthy Believer
"Much of our spiritual growth takes place in the realm of our souls! Man's soul realm consists of his mind, will and emotions. Though I usually spend ample time studying and teaching on the redeemed spirit ( where Christ lives!), I have come to realize that the way we "govern our souls" is critical to our everyday lives. It can determine the quality of our lives! If our souls (mind, will and emotions) are in a constant mess (confused minds, stubborn wills, and roller coaster emotions), we won't be focusing too much on communing with the Father from our spirit-man and enjoying Him! We will be too immersed in 'handling" our unhealthy souls!
This is not the way it should be! Our souls are to be healthy, alive and functioning under the control of the Holy Spirit.
